Why I’m Building PlanLife (and What I’m Starting With)
I was at the heaviest weight I’ve ever been.
I also need surgery — a Nissen Fundoplication for a hiatal hernia — that comes with a clear requirement:
I need to lose weight to give that surgery the best chance of success.
That was my wake-up call.
I realised something:
No one is coming to save me.
And I don’t want saving anyway.
What I want is to become the person I know I could be.
Healthier. Stronger. More disciplined.
More confident in who I am — mentally, physically, culturally.
So I’m building PlanLife.
PlanLife is my commitment to:
Lose fat and rebuild my fitness from the foundation up
Grow a real business from zero
Improve my mental resilience
Take accountability without self-punishment
Replace shame with I deserve better
There’s a version of me out there who is happy, healthy, and fulfilled.
This is the journey to become him.
And I’m sharing it publicly for one reason:
If I document the process, I can’t hide from it —
and I might help someone else who’s starting from rock bottom too.
This will be messy.
Some weeks will be great. Others will be a fight.
But every step counts, especially when it feels small.
If you’re here, thank you.
I hope watching me rebuild will inspire you to rebuild too.
Welcome to PlanLife.
Let’s become who we were meant to be.
